Cassie had always thought that the planet she and her father were going to was dangerous and should be avoided. He had a strong feeling that their experience on this planet would be bad.
Her father, on the other hand, was upset, as the new planet was an ocean of possibilities, as he possibly possessed water that was essential for their survival.
However, Cassie was correct in the end, as the planet actually promoted bad and dangerous situations for her and her father.

However, her father couldn't possibly have known how dangerous the planet was before he landed on it, not even Cassie could have known, as she only relied on her intuition.
